Former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has accused Senator Adams Oshiomhole of being the major architect of his removal as the National Chairman of the APC, after the 2019 polls.

Amosun alleged that Oshiomhole as the APC national chairman, conducted one of the worst primaries in the history of contemporary politics in Nigeria.

Amosun stated this, while reacting to an allegation by Oshiomhole that Amosun, former Governor Kayode Fayemi and the former APC Vice National Chairman, Senator Salihu Lukman, were behind his removal as the APC national chairman.

Oshiomhole speaking at the public presentation of a book on the APC in Abuja on Wednesday, had fingered three of them as spearheading his removal, and accusing him of working for President Tinubu on the eve of the 2019 polls.

But Amosun in a statement issued on Thursday, said that Oshiomhole as the APC national chairman by his actions, then posed a great threat to the existence of the APC.
