2023: Ogun PDP Asks Supporters Not To Panic Over Final List Of Gov Candidates
Ogun State PDP has assured supporters that all its candidates will still participate in the 2023 polls in the state.
The party asks its teeming supporters, not to entertain fear over the missing of the Governorship candidate, Honorable Ladi Adebutu, and his running mate, prince Adekunle Akinlade, from the final list of Governorship candidates released on Tuesday.
The full list of Ogun State Governorship candidates include Monsuru for the Accord arty, Action Alliance (Adeyemi Olufemi), African Action Congress (Adeyemi Harrison) Dapo Abiodun (APC), APM (Emmenuel Jolaoluwa), and Falana Omoshile for the APP.
Other candidates on the list are Ajadi Oguntoyinbo for the all Nigerian People Party, Olubiyi Otegbeye (ADC), Olanrewaju Sokunbi (ADP), Anthony Ojesina (SDP), Oludayo Ogunrombi (NRM), and late Olufemi Bamgbose for the PRP.
The PDP State Secretary, Asiwaju Akinloye Bankole, in a statement said that Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was only abiding by the last week’s judgement of a Federal High Court, Abeokuta.

Justice o. Oguntoyinbo ruling in the application filed by some aggrieved candidates, cancelled all the primaries conducted by the party to elect its candidates for the 2023 polls.
The Judge ordered the conduct for fresh primaries within 14 days.
The PDP secretary said after due consultations, the national working committee had filed a suit at an appeal court to challenge the ruling of the federal high court.
Akinloye asks members to trust the PDP leadership to wrest the state from the ruling party, the APC, in the 2023 polls.
