UK In Talks With Presidency Over Rise In Visa Applications By Nigerians
The UK High Commission in the country says it has entered into talks with the Federal Government on the rise in the number of Nigerians seeking for Visa to enter the UK.
The High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mrs Catriona Laing, in an interview said the talks with Federal Government is to avoid causing a brain drain in Nigeria, especially in the Health Sector.

She explains that the UK in addressing its shortage of skilled labour, do not want to be responsible for a massive brain drain from Nigeria.
According to the High Commissioner, Nigeria also needs talented people.
The diplomat says that there has been a rise in the number of Nigerians applying for the UK Visa in the recent time.
