Top Yewa Chief, Wife, Murdered In Thei Lagos Home

Police in Lagos have launched a manhunt for the killers of a Top Yewa chief, engineer Femi Egbeoluwa, and his wife, Funmilayo, in their residence at Ikeja axis of Lagos metropolis.

Egbeyemi who was a permanent secretary in the Ogun state civil service, was murdered  by unknown persons on Saturday night at their residence located at one adefolu drive at allen avenue.

The assailants also critically injured the couple’s housemaid who is still receiving treatment in a hospital.

The murder of the chief who was the Sogunro of Ilaro, has caused panic in the area.

Spokesman of the state police command, Benjamin Hundeyin, said they are investigating the incident.

Hundeyin said detectives at the state criminal investigation and intelligence department, Panti, Yaba, had taken over the investigations.

He said no suspect had so far being picked up over the incident.
