On Monday 31 July, 2023, we said that Shehu Sani, a former Senator described as a big disappointment the ministerial list of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while adding that Tinubu did not consider competence in the list, stating that the inclusion of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, was a tragedy.

On Wednesday 2 August, 2023, we told you that the Nigeria Labour Congress, said that the palliative measures announced by President Bola Tinubu to cushion the effects of petrol subsidy removal are totally out of touch with economic realities and hardship currently being faced by Nigerians, adding that the promises and assurances made by Tinubu is not the silver bullet that Nigerians expected.

According to the NLC, the President was expected to tell Nigerians his plans to resuscitate public refineries, while stating that the president also failed to unmask those behind the looting of Nigeria’s commonwealth under the guise of petrol subsidy.

On Thursday 3 August, 2023, we said the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said that illegal immigrants are behind most criminal activities in the country, adding that Nigeria is surrounded by Francophone countries, whose nationals are vulnerable and desperately love to stay in Nigeria.

According to the NIS, immigrants, thinks Nigeria is a paradise, adding that they always scramble to be part of Nigeria because they see Nigerians as people with lots of money.
