Over 800 Ogun Pilgrims Airlifted So Far To Saudi Arabia For 2023 Hajj Exercise

The first batch of 420 intending pilgrims from Ogun state has arrived Saudi Arabia to participate in the 2023 Hajj exercise summing them to over 800 pilgrims.

Executive secretary of Ogun State muslim pilgrims welfare board, Alhaji Salau Dauda, said thus:

The pilgrims departed murtala mohammed international airport, Lagos at 10.45 pm on Monday.

Their plane touched down at the prince mohammed bin abdulazeez  international airport, in Medina at 10.30 am on Tuesday.

Also, the second batch of 420 intending pilgrims were airlifted from the ikeja airport on Tuesday to the holyland.

This raised to 840 the number of intending pilgrims already airlifted from the state to Saudi Arabia within Monday and Tuesday.

The last batch of 394 are expected to be airlifted on Thursday.
