Governor of Kano Urges Muslim Leaders to Speak Truth to Power Consistently
Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has asked Muslim leaders in the state to always speak the truth to power.
He urged them to call him to order when necessary.
Yusuf made the call last Thursday while receiving Islamic clerics at the government house, Kano said, this would enable his administration to stay within the limit.
The governor however pleads with the clerics to always acknowledge him whenever his administration does what is right.
He asked the clerics to always situate their sermons around moral decadence for the healthy growth of the state.

According to him, this is necessary because 65 percent of youths in the state are into drugs and criminality adding that, there is a need to speak to their behavioral pattern.
