Delta Queens Forward Chinaza Agoh Joins Saudi Women’s League Al Shabab

Saudi Women’s League Side, Al-Shabab Women, have secured the services of Nigeria U-20 forward, Chinaza Agoh from delta queens.

The falconet forward becomes the latest Nigerian female footballer to move to Saudi Arabia after Ashleigh Plumptre moved to Al-Ittihad.

After the FIFA Women’s World Cup. The move will also see her become club teammate with Super Falcons veteran midfielder, Rita Chikwelu.

In May 2023, she was invited to the falconets team ahead of Nigeria’s WAFU B Under -20 women’s game against Ghana, and in the following month, she played a crucial role as delta queens won the NWFL title, ending the club’s twelve-year wait for the title.

Agoh won the most valuable player award, alongside the golden boot in the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership last season, with a brace from the substitutes’ bench in the final of the super 6 against Bayelsa queens, winning the trophy with four minutes left on the clock.

Agoh joined Al Shabab from Nigeria Women’s Football League side, Delta Queens.

The player has resumed training with the club.

She was unveiled by Al-Shabab on Wednesday.

Agoh joined the likes of Ashleigh Plumptre and veteran midfielder Rita Chikwelu in the Saudi League.

The talented forward won the NWFL title with Delta Queens last season.

She scored five goals for the club in the last campaign.
