Abiodun Thanks Osinbajo For Supporting His 2019 Governorship Ambition

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has again thanked Former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, for his unwavering support, during his quest to become a governor, during the 2019 primaries and governorship poll.

Abiodun called the former vice president his mentor.

He also thanked Osinbajo, for the maximum support that he gave to Ogun State while in office, saying he is an exemplary leader worthy of emulation.

The governor spoke in Okenne at a public thanksgiving and appreciation organized in his honour by the Ikenne Development Association.

The governor who described Osinbajo as having raised the bar of governance in Nigeria, said he had taught that power was transient and that public office was not permanent.

According to the governor, what was permanent in life was the legacy left behind by the leader, how he impact on the lives of those who trusted him to lead them into a better life.

The ceremony was attended by Governors Duoye Diri of Bayelsa, and Godwin Obaseki of Edo, as well as, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola and former Minister of Trade, Industries and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adeniyi.

The Akarigbo of Remo Land, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, described Osinbajo as Nigeria’s best vice president, and the best exported leader to federal government.
