Dapo Abiodun Renews Pledge to Massively Develop Ogun

Governor Dapo Abiodun has said that his administration would continue to invest in massive infrastructural projects to further open up the state’s economy despite limited availability of funds.

According to the governor, the focus of his administration is to put Ogun state in the league of advanced economies and make it a destination of choice for investors.

Governor Dapo Abiodun stated this while commissioning the two-kilometre road in Ago Iwoye, the host community of Olabisi Onabanjo University.

According to the governor, his administration would continue to rehabilitate the existing infrastructures and build new ones to serve as  a catalyst for the socio-economic development of the state.

He explained that the reconstruction of the road in Ago Iwoye would improve the socio-economic lives of people in the area, link Oru Ijebu and Ijebu Igbo, and facilitate the transportation of farm produce to urban areas.

The governor also said the project should serve as an assurance to other parts of the state of his administration’s determination to keep his electioneering campaign promises.
