Yoruba Nation Agitators Seize Radio Station For About One Hour In Ibadan

A group of Yoruba Nation agitators briefly seized the broadcasting station of Radio Nigeria Amuludun FM in Ibadan on Sunday.

The separatist agitators, armed with weapons, who arrived the broadcasting station around 5.40 am on sunday, took the overnight staff and night guard.

They invaded the studio, announcing ‘welcome to Yoruba Nation’.

Security forces, including police, soldiers and operatives of DSS, evicted the separatist forces over one hour of occupying the radio station.

Four of the agitators, one of them injured,  were arrested by the security forces, while others escaped.

The  radio  station general manager (GM) Stephen Agbaje confirmed the development but said the situation has been brought under control by security agencies.
