Makinde Says He Is Poorer During His First Term In Office Than He Was In 2019

Governor Seyi Makinde of oyo state has said that he was poorer during his first term in office.

The governor on Sunday, claimed he was poorer by ten percent than when he assumed office on ,May 29, 2019

Makinde in an interactive session with newsmen at the government house, Ibadan, blamed the decline in his assets to lack of time to supervise his private business.

He recalled declaring assets worth  n48 billion in 2019.

Makinde said he had declared his assets as he concluded his first tenure in office.

The governor did not disclose the declared assets, but promised to make them public later.
