President Tinubu Says He Is Mindful Of Post 29 Challenges, Will Not Disappoint

President Bola Tinubu and vice president, Kashim Shettima have both been sworn in as president and vice president of Nigeria.

The oath of office was administered by the chief justice of Nigeria, Kayode Ariwoola, on Monday.

Tinubu, a former senator and governor of Lagos  state was declared the winner of the February 2023 presidential election by the independent national electoral commission.

Bola who spoke at the inauguration dinner and gala night on Sunday assured Nigerians that he is mindful of the challenges which his administration is inheriting from the Buhari administration.

He urges nigerians not to pity him because he asked to be president and not drafted into the job.

Tinubu said he would not give any excuse in tackling the inherited challenges, despite the inherited challenges of insecurity, corruption, poverty and inconsistent policies.

He  promised to put Nigeria back on the path of growth.

According to him, Nigeria has stumbled over time, but it has never falters.

World leaders who were present at the inauguration include those thus:

Rwanda, Morocco, Cameroun, Tanzania Ghana, Sierra Leone, Burubdi, Congo Republic, Liberia, Gabon, Algeria, Central African Republic and South Africa.

Others were delegations from the uk, the us, canada, Venezuela.
