Ogun State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alamutu, has ordered criminal elements to relocate from the state.

Alamutu said the state command has been recording a huge success in flushing criminal elements out of the state, arresting 35 suspected armed robbers, cultists, kidnappers and rapists in special operations.

According to the police chief, ten armed robbers heading from Ibadan for an operation at Papalanto, near Ewekoro were arrested by police in Sagamu.

Also, 15 members of the supreme eye confraternity cult group in Oder Remo, engaged a police and vigilance team in shoot out.

The police commissioner also said several hoodlums were picked up by the police during a raid on their hideout at Ita Oba in Sagamu.

The police command, according to him, had redeployed tactical team to the flash points, especially Abeokuta-Ibadan road.

In the axis, the police commissioner, said police raided the forest where kidnappers kept their victims and recovered weapons during the operation.

Comrade Ademuyiwa highlighted the challenges facing their members, one of which is the issue of insecurity which has made many of them lose their valuables to marauding thieves.

Ademuyiwa said, “Essentially, we are here to seek a better working relationship with the police state command.

As an association that is into repairs of telecommunications gadgets, laptops, CCTV and some other gadgets that are under ICT.

We came to see the CP who has no doubt been doing great work to let him know that we appreciate his proactiveness and dutiful sense of purpose.

“However, sometimes our members fall victim to these robbers, we certainly need the police to help us in this area.

Security is also the business of everyone, we are also ready to support the CP, Abiodun Alamutu and his team in their bid to make the state safer and be unconducive for the criminals”.

The group sought guidance on how to enhance the safety of their equipment and personnel, recognizing the critical role their association plays in the country’s technological landscape.
