The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party and a few of other opposition parties, have rejected the results of the presidential poll so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Agents of the parties staged a walk out of the National Collation Centre, Abuja in protest on Monday.

Before walking out, they had called for the suspension of the ongoing collation of the results, on the ground that the electoral process was flawed.

They insisted on the instant review of the electoral process or the collation should be halted.

Addressing the newsmen after walking out of the collation centre, the PDP agent, Dino Melaye accused INEC of plotting with the All Progressive Congress (APC) to rig the poll.

Among others, Melaye alleged that INEC was declaring results from some polling units without using the bimodal voter accreditation system and where polls did not take place on Saturday.

He also accused INEC of not transmitting electronically the results from the polling units to the collation centres, thereby resorting to manual processing of results as during the 2019 polls.

Melaye said they would decide on the next step to be taken to force the INEC to listen to their protests.
