Ogun First Lady Asks Victims Of Sexual Harassment In Schools To Speak Up

Ogun state’s first lady Mrs Bamidele Abiodun, has asked victims of sexual abuse and gender based violence in schools, in the state,  to speak up, in order to get justice against those tormenting them.

She also said that speaking up by the affected students would enable them to get succour and healing .

The first lady made the call, during a visit to Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu, as part of sensitizing students on the gender based violence under the auspice of her pet project.

Her pet project,’Ajose Foundation, is being promoted in conjunction with the spouses of ogun state functionaries association and the state ministry of women affairs and social development.

Mrs Abiodun commends a team of volunteer doctors from the us,who are on a medical mission to the state, some of whom had been lecturing students on how to protect themselves from sexual harassment and abuse.
