Five NYSC Members Die In Auto crash In Enugu

Five members of the National youth Service Corps (NYSC) have died in an auto crash in Enugu State.

The vehicle conveying the youth corpers veered off a bridge, and plunged into a river, where they got drowned.

The youth corpers were on their way to Cross River State for their primary national assignment.

NYSC coordinator in Cross River State, Andrew Zemoh, confirmed the incident.

He said the families of the late youth corpers had been contacted, but silent on their identities.

Zemoh, who sympathised with the bereaved families, said they would decide when the victims will be buried.

Details about the incident were sketchy as of press time. It was, however, gathered that the vehicle the victims were traveling in allegedly veered off a bridge and plunged into a river in which the victims drowned.
