Fire Guts Kogi House Of Assembly, Destroys Entire Chamber

Fire has gutted the Kogi State House of Assembly in Lokoja, the State capital.

The cause of the fire outbreak in the early hours of Monday, is yet to be ascertained.

The entire assembly’s chamber was mostly affected by the fire.

The chamber was completely gutted by the fire which burnt down everything inside it.

The fire outbreak took everyone by surprise, including the security operatives protecting the complex.

The Speaker of the Assembly, Mathew Kolawole expressed shock over the fire outbreak.
