Cultists Strike Again, Kills One Person In Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital

Cultists struck again in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, leaving on person dead.

The cultists in a daring attack on Monday April 3, shot a middle aged man dead at Ikija axis of the city.

It could not be ascertain if their victim who was shot in the head, is a cultist.

But the broad daylight attack caused panic in the area.

The latest strike was coming as residents of the state were yet to recover from attacks by rival cultists in the last week of March.

Four people, including three in Abeokuta, and one in Odogbolu died in the attacks.

Also, a final year student of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has been shot dead by suspected cultists.

The student was found dead in his pool of blood in his hostel room.

The killing which occurred on Monday night threw the campus of the university into panic and confusion.
