Yayi, Daniel, of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of the senatorial seats in the Ogun West and Ogun East senatorial districts of Ogun State.

In the Ogun East, the APC candidate, former senator Gbenga Daniel was declared winner, while Senator Solomon Adeola won in the Ogun West.

INEC returning officer for the Ogun East senatorial district, Professor Christopher Onuka, announcing the results in Ijebu Ode, said Daniel scored 115,147 votes to merge as winner.

His closest rivals, the PDP, got 58,708 votes, while Labour Party received 13,061 votes.

the Ogun West, the INEC returning officer, Professor Oluseye Onabanjo declared Senator Adeola, also of the APC, as the winner of the senatorial seat.

The returning In officer announcing the results in Ilaro, credited Adeola with 112,887 votes.

The results of the Ogun central senatorial district is being awaited.

Also, Honorable Afolabi Afuape of the APC was declared the winner of the house of representatives seat in the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.

The INEC returning officer for the federal constituency, Professor Oladele Talabi announced the results on Sunday at the centenary hall, Ake, Abeokuta.

According to him, the APC candidate got 19,891 votes to defeat his closet rival, Toyin Amuzu of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who obtained 13,663 votes.

Also, the APC candidate, Prince Gboyega Isiaka was declared the winner of the Egbado North/Imeko Afon federal constituency for the house of representatives seat.

The INEC returning officer, Professor Idowu Adeosun declared Isiaka, a three term governorship candidate, the winner of the poll at a news conference held at Ayetoro on Sunday.

He emerged winner by scoring 29,543 votes to defeat Olusola Eweje of the PDP who collected 17,760 votes.

In the Ijebu North/Ijebu North East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Adegbesan Joseph of the APC was declared the winner of the house of reps seat for the area.

The polls returning officer, Adeyemi Bamgbose, declared Joseph who scored 35,708 votes the winner.

He defeated Olusegun Adekoya of the PDP who scored 25,450 votes.
