US Court Orders Chicago University to Release Tinubu’s Academic Documents to Atiku
The US District Court for Northern Ilinois has ordered the Chicago State University, to release the academic records of President Tinubu to the PDP 2023 Polls Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Judge Nancy Maldonald, on Saturday, issued a deadline of October 2 to the university to release the documents to Atiku.
The judge, ruling on Tinubu’s Appeal against previous order, on Saturday, directed the university to release all the relevant and non-privileged documents of Tinubu to the PDP candidate.
On Atiku’s other prayers, the court said it would not take position on the authenticity of the documents, which Tinubu presented to the Independent National Electoral Commission to contest the last February 25 presidential poll.

Aitku is seeking the documents, ahead of filing his appeal at the Supreme Court this week, to challenge the verdict of the Presidential Poll Petitions Tribunal, which upheld the election of Tinubu on the last February 25 poll.
The authenticity of Tinubu’s certificate was one of the major prayers in its petitions which the tribunal upheld.
