Tinubu Says There Is No Going Back on His Economic Reforms, Vows to Overcome Challenges

President Tinubu has said his administration is not going back on its ongoing economic reforms, despite the challenges of inflation.

He admitted that the reforms had brought headwinds, but believed the challenges would be overcome.

The President, speaking on the issue on Thursday while receiving a delegation from corporate council on Africa at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, said Nigeria is in the middle of a challenging stage of economic reforms.

In the face of the challenges, Tinubu said he has a good team to achieve the objectives of his economic reforms.

According to Tinubu, what is required was to remain steadfast and imbibe the can-do-attitude, to accomplish the goals of business growth and creating investments to support Nigeria’s growing population.

We are going to do more on security and investing in education, as we believe that education is the greatest weapon against poverty.

We welcome partners like CCA, and we will strengthen our partnership to achieve our goals, he said.

In her remarks, Ms. Liser expressed CCA’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s economic growth through the eight priority areas outlined by President Tinubu’s administration.

She invited President Tinubu to consider participating in CCA’s US-Africa Business Summit in May in Dallas, Texas, and urged him to consider CCA as a partner in enhancing USA-Nigeria trade, business, and investment.
