The Super Falcons of Nigeria will play South Africa in the final phase of the 2024 Olympics qualifiers.

Nigeria had to settle for a goalless draw when they played Cameroon in the first leg of the semi-final Olympic qualifiers fixture.

However, they progressed to the final phase after defeating Cameroon 1-0 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium on Monday, thanks to a goal from Esther Okoronkwo.

They needed to wait for the result of the second leg of the fixture between South Africa and Tanzania to know their opponents in the final phase.

The Banyana Banyana already had a 3-0 advantage from the first leg in Tanzania, and they just needed to avoid defeat in the second leg to progress.
