Rev. Odetoyinbo Tasks Nigerians on Rebuilding Amidt National Challenges

The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Abeokuta, Most Reverend Peter Odetoyinbo, has called for a continuous quest to rebuild and embrace righteousness and peace, despite the various challenges facing the country.

According to the bishop, amidst the prevailing doubts, hunger, danger, anger, pains and hopelessness, there is a resolute hope in the vision of a new Nigeria.

The catholic bishop in his Christmas message, tasked Nigerians on the collective rebuilding of the country, while emphasizing god’s unyielding love for humanity.

Reflecting on the essence of Christmas, he re-emphasized that god love persevere and serves as a reminder that like God, we should not give up on ourselves or the country.

The bishop drawing from biblical references, encouraged the faithful to overcome the challenges which they are facing individually and collectively.

He expressed concern about the brain drain and loss of capable hands due to the exodus of Nigerians, especially the youths to other countries.
