President Tinubu  Meets Military And Security Chiefs, To Tamper With Security Architecture

President Tinubu meets and directs the military, security and intelligence agencies to produce a new blueprint on how to tackle the security challenges inherited by his administration.

However, Nigeria, according to Tinubu, does not have the luxury of time, to tolerate any ransom holding by security challenges.

The National security adviser, retired major general Babagana Monguno, made this known, while briefing the state house correspondents

after Tinubu’s meeting with armed forces chiefs and heads of security and intelligence agencies .

Furthermore according to him, Tinubu told them that he intends to undertake a lot of reform in the country’s security architecture, directing them to crush challenges of crude oil theft.

The president also warned the military against working at cross purpose, but to work together to achieve a single objective.

He asked the military to always carry troops at the war front along in whatever ventures they are undertaking, and to ensure that troops are well fed,

kitted, motivated and be given all what they required for their operations.

Those at the maiden meeting on Thursday at the presidential villa, included the chief of defence staff, general Lucky Irabor; army chief of staff, leuitenant general Farouk Yahaya.

Others are the airforce chief of staff, Air Marshall Isiaka Amoo, the naval chief of staff, Vice Admiral Auwal Gambo,

the police inspector general, Usman Baba, the director general of department of state service, Yusuf Bichi and director general of national inteligence agency, Ahmed Abubakar.
