Plane Crash Lands At Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja

A passenger plane has crash landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja on Sunday, causing panic in the facility.

The plane was carrying passengers from Yola, the Adamawa state.

The plane on the fleet of max air, crash landed on the airport runway, after its tyres burst into flames.

The airport emergency workers quickly put off the fire, to allow passengers disembarked safely on the runway.

One of the passengers in the plane, Doctor Mike Ogirima, the former president of Nigeria medical association,  said some of the passengers saw the faulty tyres right from yola airport.

The former nma president said they immediately embarked on fervent prayers, but did not tell other passengers, so not to cause panic.
