Ogun To Fund Slain Finance Director’s Children Education

Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved the takeover of the education of children of late Director of Finance and administration in the governor’s office, Taiwo Oyekanmi, killed recently while on duty by armed robbers.

He also ordered the immediate payment of gratuity to the family of the late director, to cushion the effects of his death.

Also, Abiodun directed housing ministry to allocate to the wife and children of the late director, one of the affordable homes of his administration.

He emphasized that the listed supports of his administration, are for the wife of the late director’s wife exclusively, and not for the extended family.

The Governor announced this at the Ibara Baptist Church, Abeokuta on Wednesday during the memorial service organized in the honor of the slain director.
