Ogun State Government has announced the closure of a section of Oke Itoku Junction to Sapon to vehicular traffic on Tuesday and Friday for the Burial Programme of Iyalode Alaba Lawson.

The State Transportation Commissioner, Engineer Gbenga Dairo, in a travel advisory issued on Sunday, said the closure is in anticipation of the volume of traffic for the burial events.

The burial events for the two days include the service of songs and other activities at the Osile Oke Ona Egba Palace at Sapon between 2 P.M. and 8 P.M. on each day.

The Commissioner said that traffic from Ake and its environs would be diverted to Sapon-Ijemo Agbadu-Ake, near Oke Itoku Junction for the period.
