Ogun Begins One Week Free Surgery Scheme across the State

Ogun State Government will today begin a weeklong free surgical intervention program, across the state.

The free surgery to be carried out by the Ogun State Health Insurance Agency, covers any resident in the state with health challenges, requiring surgical intervention.

Interested residents are directed to visit the state or general hospitals close to them, and put down their names for the required surgical operation.

Following this, they are to undergo screening by health professionals, get booked, and have the surgery done on the appointed date.

According to the state government, beneficiaries of the free surgery scheme would enjoy free healthcare for the next year, after the surgery operation under the Ilera Dero Health Insurance Scheme.
