Borno Governor Appoints 168 New Special Assistants into His Cabinet

Borno Governor Appoints 168 New Special Assistants into His Cabinet

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has appointed a total of 168 special assistants in fresh appointments into his cabinet.

The 168 new appointees include 81 senior special assistants, 78 special assistants and 9 senior technical assistants.

Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Bukar Tijjani announced the appointment in a statement issued on Monday in Maiduguri.

The Governor congratulated the new appointees, asking them to contribute to the development of the state.

The statement noted that the appointment was by powers conferred upon the governor by Section 208(2)d of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999, as amended.

The SSG said in the statement that Governor Zulum congratulated the new appointees, and looks forward to their contributions to the development of Borno State.
