Ogun Asks Police To Probe Alleged Killing Of TASUED Student By Host Community
Ogun State government has directed the police to immediately investigate the circumstances surrounding the killing of a 300 level student
of Tai Solaring University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Near Ijebu Ode.
The state government’s directive followed threats issued by leaders of the National Association of Students in Ogun state
to shut down roads leading to governor’s office, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, today.

directed the police to invite all parties to the clashes between students and the host community over the killing of the student.
He condemned the killing of the student.
The student was allegedly killed by the host community who accused him of being a cultist.
In a reprisal attack, the student set on fire the palace of a traditional ruler in the host community, and three other houses.
This had compelled the authorities of TASUED to shut down the university, while some students had been arrested by the police.
