Owo: South West Governors Seek Regulation of Okadas

South west governors have expressed concern over the large influx of okada riders into the region.

The governors resolved to undertake a bio-metric registration and the regulation of the okada riders in the region.

Their position was contained in a communique issued after a virtual meeting of the governors on Sunday.

The governors say they will reconvene the south west security committee to critically study the operation of okada in the region before it becomes another social problem in the region.
