Man Electrocuted at Kobape Axis of Abeokuta
A man has been electrocuted while cutting the electricity cable of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) at Kobape Axis of Abeokuta-Siun Expressway.
The man was cutting the cable near Day waterman School.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Omolola Odutola said, the body of the cable thief had been deposited at the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu.
It was gathered that a staff member of IBEDC at the Owode Egba branch reported the matter to the police.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, said the corpse of deceased has been taken to the Ogun State Teaching Hospital Sagamu for autopsy.
Two casual staff members of the Quantum Packaging Company, Igbesa, were also arrested for allegedly stealing a cable belonging to the company.
The suspects were first apprehended by the Chief Security Officer of the company, Okoi Akilepo, who was on a foot patrol at the time, before they were handed over to the police.
