Kunle Salako, Oyetola, 17 Others on Tinubu’s New Ministerial List

President Bola Tinubu has forwarded additional nineteen names of ministerial nominees to the senate for consideration and confirmation.

The new list of ministerial  nominees was submitted by former Speaker of House of Representatives and Chief of Staff to president, Femi Gbajabiamila to the Senate president Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday.

The new nominees include five governors, former senators and House of Representatives members.

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio unveiled the list during the Wednesday plenary of the Senate.

The Senate had screened 28 ministerial  nominees who  included former governors of Rivers, Kaduna and Kebbi states, Nyesome Wike, Ahmad El-Rufai and Abubakar Bagudu respectively .

On the list were Abdullahi Gwarzo; Bosun Tijani; Dr. Maryam Shetty; Isiak Salako; Tunji Alausa; Dr. Yusuf Sununu; former Governors Adegboyega Oyetola; Atiku Bagudu; Bello Matawalle; Ibrahim Geidam and Simon Lalong.

Others are Ola Ade John; Shuaibu Audu; Prof. Tahir Mamman as well as, Senators Aliyu Abdullahi, Alkali Saidu; Heineken Lokpobori; Uba Ahmadu and Zephaniah Jisalo.

The list is a completion of the remaining eleven states that have not been allowed a ministerial slot.
