More Than Thirty Killed, Many Burnt To Death In Fatal Crashes In Bauchi And Plateau

Fourteen persons, including two children, have died in a ghastly auto crash on Bauchi-Darazo highway in Bauchi state.

Five others also sustained injuries in the crash on Thursday at Zangoro village.

Sector commander of federal road safety corps, Yusuf Abdullahi said the accident involved a commercial wagon marked AJ 507 GWA and a private car marked 15b 07bA.

He blamed the accident on speed violition by the drivers of the two vehicles.

The bodies of those who died in the crash had been deposited in the morgue of Tafawa Balewa Univiersity Teaching Hospital.
