Family of Six Perished In Ghastly Autocrash in Cross River
A family of six has perished in a ghastly autocrash in cross river state. The family members, who were traveling in their vehicle, included the father, mother and their four children
Two others were injured in the crash recorded on Monday in Otopkuni in Bekwara Local Government Area.
The six members of the family, were traveling from Ugep in Cross River State to Abuja, after the celebration of a festival, when their vehicle collided with a truck.
The state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Istifanus Ibrahim, said all the victims had been taken to a hospital in the area.

The accident, according to eye witness, occurred after the vehicle carrying the family derailed from its lane and collided face-to- face with the oncoming vehicle.
Sources close to the family in Ugep told our correspondent that the four children were buried this morning at Ugep while the corpses of the the man and the wife have been deposited at one of the hospitals in Ogoja local government area.
The source said the community and the family members are shocked at the ugly incident, disclosing that late Eteng just lost the aged mother a few days after celebrating her birthday and was going back to Abuja to prepare and come home for the mother’s burial.
