EFCC Arrest 74 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Ogun, Cart Away Seven Exotic Cars

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested scores of suspected internet fraudsters in a fresh raid in Ogun state.

74 suspects were picked up by the anti-graft operatives at Sagamu on Thursday.

The operatives from Ibadan Zonal Office of EFCC arrested them in a house at the government reservation area in the town.

Items recovered by the operatives during the operation, included seven exotic cars, three laptops, 124 mobile phones, one playstation three game and two motorcycles.

Meanwhile, the police have raided the black spots at Ijagun in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state to tackle criminal activities in the area.

Policemen were joined in the three hour raid by personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the OPC and VGC, on Wednesday night.

Spokesperson of the state police command, Omolola Odutola said some suspected criminals were picked up during the raid.

She said those found culpable would be charge to court after they had been screened.

During the raid, police recovered three motorcycles marked, EK 604 WL, MEK 23 VV and JBD 710 VC.
