Deputy Governor Relocates from Edo Government House, Amidst Cold War with Governor

Deputy Governor, Phillip Shuaib of Edo State has started relocating his office out of the state government house in Benin City.

His new office, which is still under renovation, is located at Dennis Osadebe Avenue, close the government house.

The new office lacked electricity supplied, is waterlogged, and the office spaces are significantly small.

The office relocation is coming, days after the deputy governor, who had been engaging in a cold war with the governor, withdrew the suit he filed against him from a Federal High Court, Abuja.

Shuaib had obtained an order from the court, which restrained the governor from influencing the State House of Assembly from impeaching him.
