CMD Cries Out Over Daily Resignation From Jos University Teaching Hospital

Chief Medical Director of Jos University Teaching Hospital, Doctor Pokop Bupwarta has alerted over the daily resignation of medical doctors and other health workers from the institution.

The chief medical director said the rate of daily resignation from the hospital is alarming and is creating a worrisome gap in its operations.

He asks government agencies and parastatals responsible for replacing the health workers to make the process of recruitment and replacement easier.

According to him, the present process of replacing those who resign is cumbersome as waivers must still be obtained from the head of Federal Civil Service.
