AFCON 2023: CAF Lists Top Five Countries With Most Tickets Sold
CAF, on Thursday, disclosed the top five countries that have purchased tickets to watch matches at the AFCON slated to kick off next month.
Ticket sales for Nigeria are among the top five on the continent, says CAF.
As unveiled on CAF’s official X account (formerly Twitter), Nigeria clinched the fourth spot in ticket purchases, amassing a substantial 12,544 tickets.
The host nation, ivory coast, leads the pack with a formidable 32,307 tickets sold, closely followed by Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea in second and third places, respectively.
Defending champions Senegal, home to the Teranga Lions, round off the top five.

The host nation, Ivory Coast, leads the pack with a formidable 32,307 tickets sold, closely followed by Guinea-Bissau (28,614) and Equatorial Guinea (16,237) in second and third places, respectively.
Champions, Senegal, completed the top five in the number of tickets purchased with 10,959 figures.
Coincidentally, Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria, who are leading countries in tickets purchased, are all paired in Group A.
