Ademola Lookman Attracts Interest from Premier League Clubs

Super Eagles Forward, Ademola Lookman, is drawing interest from several Premier League Clubs after scoring seven league goals this season, but they face stiff competition from Juventus.

Lookman, 26, has enjoyed life since moving to the Serie a from RB Leipzig in 2022, scoring 22 goals in 56 games for Gian Piero Gasperini’s team.

According to daily mail, the one-time Copa Italia winners are bracing themselves for a possible exit of the former RB Leipzig versatile forward.

The report stated that a host of English Premier League Teams are monitoring the performances of the player, alongside some clubs from the French Ligue 1.

OGC nice and Juventus are however the clubs with strong interests at the moment, and with the Bianconeri in the mix, other premier league clubs might be put off in making a move for the player with 96 premier league appearances.

Jose Peseiro has invited Lookman as a part of his final 25-man AFCON squad list set to fight to give Nigeria the fourth continental title.

The former England Under-21 internationally has previous experience playing in the Premier League, having represented Everton, Fulham and Leicester City in the English top flight.

During his time in England, Lookman made a total of 96 Premier League appearances, scoring 11 goals and nine assists.

While Lookman is being linked with a move back to the Premier League, he is also believed to be on the radar of at least two other European clubs.

Italian giants Juventus and Ligue 1 outfit Nice are monitoring the player’s situation as they weigh up a potential move.
