The United States (US) Embassy in Nigeria says it has interviewed over 150,000 Nigerians since January this year for the US Visa.

Also, 30,000 Nigerian students were interviewed for a visa during the period for the visa.

The embassy charge D’affairs, David Greene, who made this known, said the demand for the US visa outnumbers the available visa.

Greene asks those seeking the US visa to apply earlier, and to ensure they are tied to events.

Last March, the embassy introduced a five-year term for visas to the US.
