Suspected Female Drug Dealer Picked Up By NDLEA In Ogun

A suspected female drug dealer, Mrs Kudirat Bello, has been arrested at Igbesa, in Ogun West, by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

NDLEA Spokesman, Femi Babafemi, said she was arrested last March 20 with different quantities of drugs.

He listed the drugs as Metamphetamine, Cannabis and Rophynol. Babafemi also said N119,600 cash was recovered from her as an exhibit.

Also, a businessman, Molukwu Nwachukwu was picked up by NDLEA for concealing 100 kilogramme of cocaine in air fresher, black soap and sandals.

He was arrested while undergoing screening to board a flight to Vietnam at Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos State, last March 22, 2023.

Drugs seized from him, according to Babafemi, included 36 parcels of whitish powdery substance which tested positive for cocaine.

Rockcity reported that the operatives  of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) intercepted illegal narcotics at Idiroko and ota, both in Yewa-awori axis of Ogun State.

The interception at Idiroko on the Nigeria’s border with Benin Republic, was made along Ilase-Akoko road last  Thursday.

NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, on Sunday, said compressed jumbo  size wrap of imported skunk was detected in a commercial car marked JJ756 HB.

He puts the weight of the seized skunk which was concealed in two cooking gas cylinders at 17 kilogramme.
