Seven Nigerians Win 2023 ‘You’re Image Awards’ by Ogun State NIPR and Primus Magazine

Seven icon Nigerians have been selected as the winners of the 2023 ‘Your Image Awards’ jointly by Ogun State chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Primus Magazine.

The honoree are former Super Eagles Captain and owner of Eagles 7 FM Radio, Abeokuta, and Segun Odegbami, who would receive lifetime award; the Toluwade of Akinade Kingdom, Oba Olufemi Ogunleye (PR Icon Award), and former Ogun State Sport Commissioner, Chief Bukola Olopade, Corporate Social Responsibility Award.

Others are the Managing Director of Sweet FM, Abeokuta, Eddy Aina who will receive the ‘Role Model Award’; and the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Government owned companies with ‘the Outstanding and Visionary Association in Cutting Edge Corporate Governance Award’.

Also, Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya will receive PR Beacon Award, while The Director of Legal and Corporate Affiars of International Breweries, Mr Temitope Oguntokun was given the PR Professional of the Year.

In a release, Managing Director of PR Primus Magazine, Akin Okudero, stated that the honorees were carefully selected based on their track records of professionalism and excellence in service delivery by a select committee.

Furthermore, the chairman of the event, which is scheduled to take place today at Park Inn Hotel, Abeokuta, is the Olowu of Owu, Oba Saka Matemilola.

During the event, the NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaki, will deliver the annual lecture on the theme, “Building Citizens’ Trust In Governance.”

In addition, the Second Special Edition of the PR Primus Magazine will be launched at the event.

Moreover, beneficiaries of the maiden Empowerment Schemes in honor of the late Ogun State Head of Service, Engr. Lanre Bisiriyu, and the late Communication Scholar Professor Lai Osho will receive grants at the ceremony.
