Ogun To Concession 250 Bed Mitros Hospital

Ogun State Government says it has finalized arrangements to concession the N7 billion 250 bed Mitros Hospital at Oke Mosan, Abeokuta to an International Hospital Management Company.

Governor Dapo Abiodun said the company would operate the hospital and later transfer it to the state government.

The governor announced the plan while responding to his endorsement by the Egba Traditional Council at the Ake Palace, Abeokuta, for another term in office.

Abiodun told the monarchs that the private investors would complete the mega hospital, built by the Amosun administration, and manage it to become a world class hospital.

The governor also said that his administration was working on the on the Kajola dry port project, and the Wasimi Export and Logistics Hub to de-congest ports in Lagos.

He also said that his administration intends to upgrade Ibara government reservation area as well as Mowe-Ofada axis.

Earlier, the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo on behalf of monarchs in Egbaland had told the governor that he deserves a second term in office for his sterling performance ion office.

The paramount ruler applauded the governor for completing some of the inherited projects in the Egbaland, as well as the Egba Traditional Council hall at the Ake Palace.

He asks him to construct the road leading to the railway station at Oba in Abeokuta.
