My Wedding with Otedola’s Daughter wasn’t Secret – Mr Eazi
Renowned music artist, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has recently addressed misconceptions surrounding his marriage to actress and fashion blogger, Temi Otedola, the daughter of the esteemed billionaire and philanthropist, Femi Otedola.
Contrary to prevailing beliefs, Mr Eazi emphasized that their union was not shrouded in secrecy, and he shed light on the matter during a recent interview with Naija FM in Lagos.
In response to a query from one of the hosts about why he chose to keep his wedding under wraps, Mr Eazi promptly dismissed the notion of it being a secret ceremony.
He urged skeptics to watch the video for his song ‘Legalise,’ revealing that the footage was, in fact, a documentation of their wedding in the romantic setting of Venice.
Mr Eazi passionately explained, “If you watch the video, you will see proofs there. Our outfits weren’t just costumes. Go and watch the video, and you will see everything clearly.
It’s just like what painters do, whenever you see their work, you will see the message they’re trying to convey. That’s how it is with us musicians too.”
The ‘Legalise’ singer’s revelation underscores the artistic expression embedded in the visuals of his music, where the narrative of his marriage unfolds.
By encouraging fans and critics alike to revisit the video, Mr Eazi aims to dispel any lingering doubts about the transparency of his nuptials.
It appears that the choice to incorporate the wedding footage into the music video was a deliberate and creative decision, aligning with the tradition of artists conveying personal stories through their craft.
It’s worth noting that Mr Eazi officially proposed to Temi in April 2022, marking a significant milestone in their relationship.
As the couple continues to navigate the public eye, the integration of their wedding into Mr Eazi’s music video adds a layer of authenticity to their love story, reinforcing the idea that art, in this case, serves as a powerful medium for personal expression and celebration.
