JAMB  Remits N2bn Interim Surplus Into Federal Government Account

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board ( JAMB ) said it has remitted N2bn as its interim surplus for the 2023 operating year to the federal government.

The examination body on Thursday says it would remit more as its operations for the year are completed.

Jamb’s spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in a statement said that the remittance was in furtherance of the pledge by the JAMB registrar, prof. Is-Haq oloyede on assumption of duty, that it would leverage technology and discipline to manage the affairs of the board.

So far the examination body under Oloyede-led management has remitted over n55bn to the federal government coffers.
