Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State Appoints 215 New Aides

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has appointed 215 new aides, ahead of the end of his second term tenure in January 2024.

The new appointees, included 26 Special Advisers; 128 Senior Special Assistants and 51 Special Assistants.

Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, announced the appointments in a statement issued in Lokoja.

She said the appointments are effective from last September 29.

Some of the newly appointed Special Advisers are James Modu Kaura (Steel Development); Siaka Ibrahim (Kogi State Indigenes in Diaspora); Nusa Yahaya (Local Government Matters Igbalamela/Odolu LGA); Abduluhai Yunusa (Local Government Matters, Ofu LGA); James Babatunde (Energy); Odoh Akowe (Political Education); Umar Isah Edibo (Mentoring); Oluwakayode Emmanuel (Girl Child Education); and Onu Salifu (Cultural Integration).

Furthermore, in addition to the aforementioned individuals, notable appointments include Mohammed Attai Yusuf, serving as the Senior Special Assistant on Job Creation for Kogi East; Nuhu Isa Alifia, who has been appointed as the Senior Special Assistant for Human Capital Development II; Atule Amedu, assuming the role of Cooperatives II; Mumin Suleiman Ahmed, entrusted with the responsibility for Road Maintenance; and Siaka Alih, who occupies the position of Industrial Management, among others.
