Danjuma Invited 25 Players for Next Month’s FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup

Head Coach, Christopher Musa Danjuma has invited 25 players for next month’s FIFA under 20 women’s world cup qualifying fixture against Burundi.

The invited players are expected to resume camp in Abuja on 27th December.

The invited goalkeepers are Kehinde Afuye, Faith Omilana; Anderlin Mgbechi and Shukurat Bakare.

The defenders include Jumoke Alani; Oluwabunmi Semilore; Oluchi Ohaegbulam , Shukurat Oladipo; Comfort Folorunsho,  Emamuzo Edafe and  Rebecca Adegbemile.

The midfielders are Taiwo Afolabi, Chinyere Kalu; Aminat Folorunsho; Shukurat Shobowale; Chioma Olise and Adoo Yina.

The forwards are Chiamaka Okwuchukwu , Aminat Bello ; Opeyemi Ajakaye; Chiamaka Osuigwe; Chisom Chima; Mary Nkpa; Janet Akekoromowei and Oluwayemisi Samuel.

Burundi will host the first leg of the fixture in Bujumbura between 12th – 14th January, with the return leg in Abuja on Saturday, 20th January.

The winner of the fixture will reach the last round of the qualification series, with the matches to be played in March 2024.

The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup is scheduled for Colombia from August 31 to September 22, 2024.
