Atiku Gives Condition to Drop Litigation against Tinubu’s CSU Certificate
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has stated condition that would make him to drop his ongoing case against President Tinubu over his certificate from the Chicago State University (CSU) in the United State (US).
Atiku said he would only drop the ongoing litigation in the US court, after the Supreme Court had determine his petition against the judgement of the Presidential Poll Tribunal, on the outcome of the last February 25 presidential poll.
Addressing a news conference on Thursday in Abuja, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate asked his Labour Party (LP) and New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) Counterparts, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, to join him in the battle against Tinubu’s academic records.
He said the reputation of Nigeria was at stake over President Tinubu’s academic records, adding that he was inspired by the late activist lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, to challenge the academic records.

According to Atiku, the late lawyer had vindicated him and lawyers assisting in investigation issues surrounding the Tinubu’s academic record, which has been dragging on for about 50 years.
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 election praised the late legal luminary, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, for beginning the certificate confirmation process which he said has now been laid to rest.
He also commended the Nigerian media particularly one David Hundeyin for his effort to expose the forgery of the USC documents.
Atiku called on other political leaders including Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to join him in the effort to ensure probity, accountability, equity and justice in the country.
The former vice president added: “I also want to extend my gratitude to Nigerian citizens and friends of Nigeria both within and beyond the shores of our country for their patience as we have sought to find the facts and establish the truth.
